The council area has no well developed conventional sports complex.All sporting events are carried out in undrdevelopped playgrounds cleared for that purpose by the inhabitants.

11) TOURISTIC ATTRACTIONS:

Douala IV harbours quite an enormous underdeveloped touristic potential like the beach openinto the Atlantic ocean through the gulf of Guinea.It also harbours one of the two industrial zones of the Douala metropolitan economic capital of Cameroon with companies like CIMENCAM,OIL & SOAP industries,AGRO industries,Breweries, Arts&Craft etc.

12) FOREIGN CORPERATION:

* Douala IV is already benefiting from a twinning venture with the town of STRASBOURG in France which is realising a magnificient social center to eventually take care of underprivileged youths like street children, the blind, deaf and dumb, handicapped, albinos to check their social alienation and promote their integration into society.
